From Kalamazoo to St. Louis to Boise to Savannah, U.S. Small Businesses traveled to Menlo Park for the announcement of the newest members to Facebook’s 5th annual Small Business Council. The Facebook Small Business Council was launched in 2014 with a mission dedicated to helping all businesses grow. Comprised of over 70+ members across the United States, the council includes a variety of different businesses that range in type, size, experience level and location.

From Kalamazoo to St. Louis to Boise to Savannah, U.S. Small Businesses traveled to Menlo Park for the announcement of the newest members to Facebook’s 5th annual Small Business Council. The Facebook Small Business Council was launched in 2014 with a mission dedicated to helping all businesses grow. Comprised of over 70+ members across the United States, the council includes a variety of different businesses that range in type, size, experience level and location.
Twelve new small businesses joined the council and represent a diverse group of innovators and rule breakers; they are entrepreneurs who share a common belief in the importance of serving their customers, their communities, and each other; using Facebook in inspiring ways to do so.

- From the local St. Louis area, Eyeseeme is a small business known for their profound work in children’s education.Rescued Furnishings & Designs is a furniture refurbishing company that also offers kitchen remodeling services, one of a kind furniture pieces and DIY classes.
- From the local New York area, Two Blind Brothers is a luxury clothing line on a mission to cure blindness. Founders Bradford and Bryan Manning were both diagnosed with an eye disease that causes blindness over time. This condition has inspired a special vigilance for details, a passion that carries over into the construction of their clothing line. Bradford and Bryan are such a strong member to the community through their work in the mission to cure blindness.
- From the local Savannah area, DogWorx is known for their dog training and animal rehabilitation.
- From the local Kalamazoo area, Damn Handsome Grooming Co. is a company focused on sustainable commerce. It partners with local, craft breweries to re-purpose their brewed ingredients into sustainable goods.
- From the local Columbus area, business apparel business Traxler Printing and The Diva Movement, a personal development and social networking organization for women and girls, are such a strong members to their community.
- From the local Pittsburgh area, the environmentally-friendly Knotzland Bowties is a small business where each bowtie is custom made by single mothers or elderly women who need jobs where they can work from home.
- From the local San Francisco area, Henry's House of Coffee has been fueling local coffee drinkers for years. Loyal customers travel from throughout the Bay Area to get their hands on a fresh pastry and a cup of Henry’s finest roasts and blends.
- From the local West Reading area, Sweet Ride Ice Cream, LLC is a small business offering super premium ice cream, sundaes, custom ice cream cookie sandwiches, waffle sundaes, coffee, hot chocolate and hand-crafted sodas. Their mobile ice cream parlor and vintage ice cream bike is a huge hit for summer events.
- From the local Boise area, personal finance coach Whitney Hansen is such a strong asset to the community through her work in helping others in the community manage their finances.
- From the local San Diego area, Kallie & Co., founded by Nadia Martinez, sells products handcrafted in Mexico by artisans online. As a military spouse herself, all of the women Nadia employs at Kallie & Co. are military spouses who also needed jobs that allowed them to balance their life and career.
