Story
In recognition of Disney’s 100-year anniversary, Riyadh Calendar Events is bringing the celebrations to Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA).
Running until September 20 at Boulevard Riyadh City, Disney on Ice presents ‘100 Years of Wonder’. The show presents world-class performances from skaters from across the globe featuring characters from Disney’s Moana, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and many more. Boulevard Riyadh City is one of the biggest entertainment destinations in the capital of Saudi Arabia with sub-zones that have their own features, activities, restaurants and events.
Founded on the 16th of October 1923 by Walt and Roy Disney, the Walt Disney Company has become globally recognized for its timeless stories and beloved characters as well as its amazing achievements in entertainment. What makes this show different is that we are celebrating 100 years of wonder through the existence of Disney. So, we’re having so many different stories in one show that it compiles from the grandads, the mums, the children, everybody will have a piece on their heart of what has been 100 years of wonder of Disney, and we are putting it on the ice. So we are taking from the Cinderella story all the way to coco and Moana which are the newest ones of Disney. We are performing a world class show on the ice with all of the stories that Disney has been telling us for over 100 years and we are doing it all here in the king of the Saudi Arabia in Riyadh in the boulevard Riyadh so make sure that you are all your family come and enjoy this moment because this is a family show for all the kids. It doesn’t matter if the kid is 100 years or the kid is 9 years, we are all wanting you guys to come here and enjoy the show.

The entertainment business here in Saudi Arabia has been amazing for us working with NEC and GEA as partners because they are opening all these lovely entertainment shows they’re bringing the failed entertainment shows with Disney on Ice, they are going to be bringing, I don’t want to fail the surprise, the superhero surprise because all the people in Jedda are going to very very excited of what they’re coming. So the entertainment business with GEA and NEC has been developing so much and so greatly that we are truly glad that we are here with them as partners to enjoy and to be able to have all of Saudi’s family coming in and enjoy this show. So, we are hoping that it’s not just the second year, but Disney on Ice is coming to be coming back every single year to the Kingdom because we are very excited to continue this path with them.

I’m an ensemble skater with the show so I get to play a vast array of roles, you’ll see me in the Aladdin segment, you’ll see me as a daughter or Triton, you’ll see me as one of Cinderella’s stepsisters and then a citizen in Frozen so a little bit of everything.

We are so excited to be bringing the Disney magic here to Saudi Arabia, we encourage everyone just to be singing and dancing and bringing that positive energy and we’re going be reciprocating it back out to you all as well.

Of course, we are on skates so it’s slippery and its live entertainment so anything happens but we’re just hoping to bring the best show that we can and encourage everyone to dream big and have a good fun time!
