• Cunard’s Queen Anne marks new era of luxury ocean travel for holidaymakers across the globe
• British cruise line Cunard is continuing its 183-year legacy with its first new ship in 14 years, the Queen Anne
• For the first time this century, Cunard will have four ships sailing around the globe
• Throughout her maiden season, Queen Anne will sail from Southampton on itineraries to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands, and the Norwegian Fjords

Last night, Cunard’s first ship in 14 years, the Queen Anne, arrived at the Mayflower Terminal in Southampton. Queen Anne is the 249th ship to sail under the Cunard flag and will depart on her maiden voyage on Friday 3rd May. For the first time this century, Cunard will have four ships sailing around the globe, and throughout her maiden season, Queen Anne will sail from Southampton on itineraries to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and the Canary Islands. The 113,000-ton Queen features an on-board Royal Court Theatre which will be showcasing a unique production of Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter, as well as a cigar lounge dedicated to Winston Churchill and a curated collection of international art scattered around the ship.

The luxury cruise line’s newest ship will be arriving from Italy following an official handover ceremony at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Venice. Thousands of spectators are expected to take up vantage points along Southampton waters to catch a glimpse of the 113,000-ton Queen.

Cunard’s impressive new vessel will set sail for her maiden voyage, a seven-night trip to Lisbon via La Coruna, on 3 May. She will then depart for a 14-night voyage to the Canary Islands.

Throughout her maiden season, Queen Anne will sail from Southampton on itineraries to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands, and the Norwegian Fjords.
